	Castle Street Centre Association is a vital part of the community fabric and is in constant demand by our Toddler Group; Martial Arts such as Karate, Kung Fu, Taichi & Qigong, Taekwondo; Slimming groups; Marching Bands; Keep Fit Classes; Art classes; Musical groups & Orchestras; Educational Classes; Religious and Spiritual Classes; Theatre productions; Community Fund Raising events and Private Parties/Functions. The Castle Street Centre is located in Kendal by the river Kent with views of Kendal Castle and Gooseholme , only a 5minute walk to the town centre. The centre has three rooms that can cater up to 40 people, a large hall that can seat up to 180 people and a quiet room for the personal interviews. It boasts a car park that can take 25 average sized cars.		We are a self financincing charity,that caters for the community and its needs. Educational Development Courses, Health Rehabilitation Programmes, Music & Arts Groups favour the facilities available on site. Mission Statement: To provide a self financing community centre for the local population at reasonable prices, to maintain a happy friendly atmosphere. To purchase and protect the building by placing the Deeds with the Charity Commission. Castle Street Centre Association is a Registered Charity No1097192 and was set up to promote the benefit of the neighbourhood of Kendal.
